How Fifecta, the Priceless Tay money app, protects your bank connections and financial information.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Fifecta is the app Priceless Tay clients use to plan their money. You may connect your bank to it, so here is exactly how we protect that information. We only list what the app actually does today.
Read-only bank connections
Fifecta connects to your bank through Plaid, a service used by thousands of financial apps. We ask Plaid for your balances and transactions. We ask for your debts and investments only if you agree to share them.
Fifecta does not use any Plaid feature that moves money, pays bills, or changes your bank accounts. The app can read what you choose to share. It cannot hold, send, or withdraw your money.
We never see your bank login
You sign in to your bank inside Plaid's window, not ours. Your bank username and password go to Plaid and never reach Fifecta.
Plaid gives us an access token so we can fetch updates. We encrypt that token with AES-256 before we store it. Only our server code can decrypt it, and it is never sent to your browser.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Information moving between your device and Fifecta travels over HTTPS. Our database provider, Supabase, encrypts the data it stores.
You decide what to connect
Linking a bank is optional. You can type balances and transactions in yourself instead. Turn on Work by hand in Settings to hide bank linking and Ask Penny completely. You can also hide any linked account you do not want to see.
Sign-in protection
Only people who have enrolled with Priceless Tay can create a Fifecta account. You can sign in with an email link, a password, or Google.
For an extra layer, turn on two-step verification in Settings → Sign-in. After that, signing in also asks for a code from your authenticator app.
Who can see your information
You can see your own information. Our database rules stop other clients from seeing it.
Your Priceless Tay team (coaches, admins, and sales staff) can see the financial and coaching information stored in Fifecta so they can support you. They can also open a preview of your portal.
How AI is used
Ask Penny, the in-app money assistant, sends a summary of your plan to OpenAI to answer your questions. That summary can include your income, spending, debts, goals, and recent transactions. It never includes your bank login or Plaid access token. Some coach tools also use OpenAI to summarize check-ins and progress.
Ask Penny keeps your recent chat on your device, not in our database. If you would rather not use Ask Penny, turn on Work by hand.
Delete your account anytime
Go to Settings → Your data → Delete account. Fifecta tells Plaid to disconnect your banks, deletes your account and data, and signs you out for good.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your financial information or share it with advertisers. There are no advertising trackers inside Fifecta. We share information only with the services that run the app, listed in the Fifecta Privacy Policy.
