Tailwind Review (2026): Pros, Cons, and Pricing

Welcome to our Tailwind review. Here at PricelessTay, we rely on Tailwind to schedule our Pinterest and Instagram content. I mean, you didn’t think we were manually uploading every video and post to each individual platform, did you? Talk about time consuming.
That’s why we love Tailwind. We can upload all of our images or videos into Tailwind, and choose which platforms we want to schedule to. If we want to schedule the same post to Pinterest and Instagram, we can do that with a few clicks and we can easily add different captions for each post right in Tailwind so that the posts are native to each platform.
Tailwind also has a handy feature for hashtags, where you can save different hashtag lists and add them to your posts with a click. Tailwind offers a ton of features, so let’s dive in!
Scheduling
With Tailwind, you can schedule content to Pinterest, Tiktok, Instagram and Facebook. Tailwind will give you recommended posting days and times based on activity data from your audience (known as their Smart Scheduling feature), but you can also choose your own dates and times to post.
Tailwind makes scheduling to your social media platforms super easy. You can easily schedule the same image to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest but add different captions and hashtags to make it unique to each platform. You can schedule carousels to Instagram, but not Facebook.
Once your content is scheduled, you will see it in the calendar feature. From the calendar feature, you can easily move it to another day or time if you need to reschedule. You can schedule Instagram reels and Tiktok videos as well, but we have not fully explored this feature because we generally like to add in app text to our videos.
Content Prompts
Something we really we love about Tailwind is their content prompts. Sometimes we all need fresh ideas for content to post, blogs to write or email campaigns. Tailwind offers helpful prompts in three categories: brand awareness, consideration and conversion. Whether you need inspiration for social media posts, blog posts, or growing your email list, the prompts have some super helpful ideas to get your wheels turning. Below are examples of just a few. These prompts change monthly to give you fresh, new ideas.
Tailwind Communities
Share relevant content and help amplify your reach on Pinterest. Tailwind communities are centered around individual topics. You can join a community related to your niche. Once you’ve joined the community, find relevant content to share to your boards. Tailwind communities is a great way to reach new audiences as people share your content to their Pinterest audience.
Tailwind is optimized for Pinterest scheduling and marketing. You can add everything you need for your Pinterest posts right into Tailwind. We’ve found that some other platforms, like Hootsuite are not optimized for Pinterest although they are optimized for other social media accounts.
AI Features
Smart.bio
Tailwind allows you to create a smart bio for your Instagram. Adding links to it is easy. Just fill out two fields: one for the button’s label and another for its URL. When adding posts to Instagram from Tailwind, you can choose if you want the post to be added to your Smart.Bio with a link.

Conclusion
Overall, Tailwind is a great social media scheduler that we use regularly here at Pricelesstay. We have tried Hootsuite and Planoly, but preferred Tailwind to both of those platforms. We love how easy Tailwind makes it to schedule our content, especially Pinterest. Since they have a free plan you can sign up for, we definitely reccommend giving Tailwind a try!
